ATTENTION WATERTOWN ANIMAL HOSPITAL CLIENTS:
We strive to provide excellent medical care to your pet and to all of our patients. Consistent with this, we have developed appointment cancellation and no-show policies that allow us to better schedule appointments for all patients. When an appointment is scheduled, that time is specifically reserved for you and your pet and when it is missed, that time cannot be used to treat another patient in need of care. We sincerely appreciate your assistance and and cooperation, as this allows for a smooth office flow and more efficient use of your time, and ours.
Our Late Fee Policy is as follows:
If a client is more than 10 minutes late to their appointment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. Clients arriving late may ask to wait to be seen until the veterinarian(s) have an opening in their schedule. Clients will then be charged a $15 late fee. When your appointment is made, a time is reserved, and we make special arrangements to be ready for your visit. Except for emergency treatment for another pet, we make every effort to be prompt. We, of course, would appreciate the same courtesy from you.
Our No-Show Policy is as follows:
Please understand that our appointments are scheduled to allow us to set aside a dedicated time slot just for you and your pet. This allows us to take care of each individual patient’s needs during the pet’s visit. Since appointment times are in high demand, we value advance notice from our clients who are unable to keep their scheduled appointments. To promote efficient access to our office, we require that any appointment that is no longer needed or is unable to be kept be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment. This courtesy makes it possible to give your reserved time slot to another client and patient.
*Since we certainly understand that personal issues and unexpected scheduling conflicts may occur, we will not charge you for your first missed or cancelled appointment. However, in the event that a second appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no notice, a $25 charge will be billed to your account. Repeated cancellations or missed appointments will result in loss of future appointment privileges. We reserve the right to terminate the client-doctor-patient relationship, as well as applying another $25 charge for additional appointments missed.
