Today, September 19th, renovations will begin on the hospital. We will be adding an additional 2000 square feet of space. This will give us an expanded reception area with separate dog and cat waiting areas. We will also have an additional exam room for a total of 4 exam rooms. There will be improvements to the lab, pharmacy and treatment areas. We will have a new surgery suite and radiology room. There will be new lift tables, a wet table, dental radiography and new dental drill. And, we will will be renovating the kennel rooms and runs, which will include new cat condos for our feline visitors.
While this is very exciting and we are looking forward to having a new and upgraded hospital, the construction process will be arduous and will take until July of 2017 to complete. Please bear with us during this process – we are doing this for you and your pets! Staff will be parking at a neighboring business so clients are welcome to park on the side of the hospital. Please remember to come in through the front entrance, not the back or side doors.
At times, some of our services may be limited. For example, while our radiology room is being renovated, we may not be able to take x-rays of your pets. We may need to refer you to a neighboring practice. Also, there may be times that we will not be able to perform surgery or provide boarding. Again, this will be temporary and we will do everything that we can to continue to provide the medicine and service that you have come to expect. Thank you for your patience with our renovations!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the doctors or staff.
